At Cinemira KIDS International Children’s Film Festival, a professional jury will decide on the Golden Squirrel Awards for Best Animated Film and Best Short Film. In addition, a special prize will be awarded by the members of ECFA. Meet the jury members!

The short film jury includes Marketa Pasmova, Artistic Director of the Zlín International Children’s and Youth Film Festival in the Czech Republic, Pantelis Panteloglou, Deputy Artistic Director of the Greek Olympia International Children’s and Youth Film Festival, and Hungarian actress Rozi Lovas.

The members of the animation jury are Claudia Sümeghy, producer of JUNO11, Slovakian animation director Martin Smatana, who won the Golden Squirrel Award for Best Animation at Cinemira in 2020 with The Kite, and Janka Barkóczi, researcher at the National Film Institute – Film Archive.

A special prize will be presented by the of the European Children’s Film Association (ECFA): Felix Vanginderhuysen, Secretary General of ECFA, Michael Harbauer, Director of the SCHLINGEL International Children’s and Youth Film Festival, and Jo-Anne Blouin, FIFEM International Film Festival – Montreal general and artistic director.
